Bay Lodge -
- Located on Coast Highway 1 at the south end of Bodega Bay,
65 miles north of San Francisco. Set among pines and flower-covered
dunes, the Lodge overlooks the Pacific Ocean, Doran Beach State
Park and the spectacular green bluffs on Bodega Head.

U.S. Route 1 -
- How important and interesting can one highway be. Well, U.S.
Route 1 is known for it's historic significance and it's scenic
offerings. Traversing some of the oldest roads in the country,
U.S. 1 meanders up the east coast, from the tip of the Florida
Keys, all the way to the top of Maine. In New England, Route
1 takes travelers through cozy villages, past incredible vistas
and water views, and into some of the most historic spots in
the country. From south to north, U.S. 1 travels from Connecticut,
through Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and up
the Maine coast. Sometimes known as "Old Post Road, "sometimes
as a town's "Main Street," a trip to the region that follows
this highway is sure to lead to pleasant surprises and delightful
