- Hulopoe Beach Park -
- South coast of Lanai, adjacent to the Manele Bay Hotel. The foreshore is steep. Amenities include paved parking, restrooms, showers, picnic tables and a camping area. It is the best swimming beach on the island, the only beach on the south shore and the only beach conveniently accessible to all residents and visitors. Camping is by permit only. Permits are issued by the Lanai Company. Be sure to call ahead for reservations.
- Polihua Beach -
- Northwest coast of Lanai at the end of Polihua Road. Caution. The ocean bottom drops steeply to overhead depths. Access is possible only with a four-wheel-drive vehicle. There are no facilities, no lifeguards and no other rescue assistance nearby. Swim here only when the ocean is absolutely calm.
