The Hong Kong Museum of Art is one of the museums under the management of the Leisure & Cultural Services Department. Established in 1962, it was first housed in the City Hall. It moved to its present purpose-built premises at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in 1991. The museum's branch, the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, is situated in the Hong Kong Park.

The Sam Tung Uk Museum is a 200-year-old walled village that was declared a historical monument in 1981 and restored. Occupying an area of 2,000 square meters, the symmetrical layout of the village resembles a chessboard with an entrance hall, an assembly hall and an ancestral hall at the central axis.
